Hi, I’m Maya
I’ve been grooming dogs for twelve years, and I started Lather & Leash because I wanted grooming to feel like a spa day, not a stressful drop-off. We keep things slow, quiet and one-on-one, so even nervous pups leave with a wagging tail.
Every dog gets our full attention, our softest hands and far too many treats.

Mobile visits include a $15 trip fee, waived when we groom two or more dogs at one address.

All we need is a spot to park within about 30 feet of your door. The van has its own water, power and air-conditioning.

Do you need my dog’s vaccine records?
Yes: a current rabies vaccine is required by Arizona law, and we ask for bordetella too. Text or email us a photo of the certificate before your first visit.
How long does a groom take?
About 90 minutes in the van, and around 3 hours at the salon, where pups take rest breaks in the lounge. Big, fluffy or matted coats can take longer.
What if my dog is nervous or senior?
That’s our specialty. We go slowly, take breaks, and stop if your dog is stressed. For some pups, mobile grooming, with no car ride and no other dogs, makes all the difference.
Do I need to be home for a mobile visit?
Only to hand over your pup and take them back. Many clients work from home or leave a side gate open for us. Just let us know what works.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or cash after the groom. Tips are always appreciated but never expected.
