Our story
Gentle grooming, one pup at a time
Lather & Leash started in 2016 with one groomer, one very old van and a simple idea: grooming shouldn’t be scary.
Maya spent years in busy salons, where dogs waited for hours in kennels and nervous pups had a hard time. So she bought a van, filled it with warm water and good treats, and started grooming dogs one at a time, right outside their front doors.
Word spread fast. Today we’re a small team with a second van, Bubbles, and a calm, cage-free salon in Chandler for families who’d rather drop off. The idea hasn’t changed: one dog at a time, no cages, no rushing, and never a groom that isn’t kind.

We never force a groom. If your dog needs a break, they get one; if they need to stop, we stop.

Pet CPR certified, fresh towels for every dog and sanitized tables and tubs between grooms.
