New clients & vaccines
Arizona law requires a current rabies vaccine for every dog we groom. Please text or email a photo of the certificate before your first visit. We also ask for bordetella (kennel cough).
Puppies can come in once they’ve had their second round of vaccines, usually around 10 to 12 weeks.
Matted coats
De-matting can pull and hurt, so we only brush out mats when it’s comfortable for your dog. Tight, close-to-the-skin matting means a short reset cut instead. It grows back soft and healthy, and we’ll always talk it through with you first.
Extra de-matting time is $15 per 15 minutes.
Fleas & ticks
If we find fleas or ticks, we’ll give your pup a gentle flea bath ($15) and let you know, so you can treat your home and yard too.
Safety & behavior
We never force a groom. If your dog is very stressed or could get hurt, we’ll pause, try again another way, or stop and only charge for the work done.
Please tell us about any bites, fears or medical conditions when you book. It helps us plan a calmer groom.
Cancellations & late arrivals
Please give us 24 hours’ notice to cancel or move an appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the groom.
For mobile visits, we’ll wait 15 minutes after our arrival text; after that we’ll need to reschedule.
Weather (mobile)
The van is heated and air-conditioned, so we groom in almost any weather. If a monsoon storm makes roads unsafe, we’ll text you to move your appointment, at no charge.
Senior & special-needs pups
We love our seniors. We keep their grooms shorter, support tired hips and joints, and take as many breaks as they need. If your dog has a medical condition, please ask your vet whether grooming is okay first.
Payment & tips
We take card, Apple Pay and cash after the groom. Prices depend on size, coat and condition, and we’ll always confirm yours before we start. Tips are appreciated but never expected.
