Do we need to be in the same city?
Not at all. We work with clients all over the US by video, phone and a secure shared portal. If you’re in Raleigh, we’re always happy to meet for coffee.
Which software do you use?
QuickBooks Online and Xero, plus Gusto for payroll and Bill for bill pay. Already on something else? Ask us. We’ll tell you honestly if we can help.
Do you do taxes?
We don’t file income taxes, but we hand your CPA clean, year-end books and happily talk to them for you. Need a CPA? We’ll introduce you to one we trust.
What can a virtual assistant take off my plate?
Anything that repeats: email, scheduling, client onboarding, invoices, travel, research, social posts and data entry. Our free Delegation Starter List has 60 ideas.
Is my information safe with you?
Yes. Two-factor sign-in everywhere, a password manager, an NDA with every client and full insurance. We ask for read-only bank access whenever we can.
What if my books are a total mess?
That describes most of our new clients. We start with a catch-up and cleanup, priced per month behind, then move you onto a monthly package.
How do we work together day to day?
A shared board in Asana or Notion, a quick weekly check-in and replies within one business day (same day on the 40-hour plan).
Is there a contract?
Month to month. If it isn’t working, give us 30 days’ notice and we’ll hand everything back neatly, logins and all.
