The small print, in plain words, so there are no surprises on the day.
We charge by the hour, rounded to the nearest half hour, with a one-hour minimum per visit. Half-day and full-day rates apply when they work out cheaper for you.
The price on our website is an estimate based on typical times. We confirm it when we see the job, before we start.
You’re welcome to supply your own fixtures and parts. Anything we buy for your job is billed at cost, with the receipt, plus the time it takes to collect it.
Please give us 24 hours’ notice to move or cancel a visit. Later than that, we may charge our one-hour minimum, because we can’t fill the time.
If our workmanship fails within 12 months, we come back and fix it free. The guarantee covers our labor, not parts you supplied or normal wear.
By law some work needs a licensed trade or a permit: new circuits, panel work, gas lines, water heaters and structural changes. We’ll tell you when a job is one of these and recommend someone we trust.
Payment is due when the work is done, by card or check. Projects quoted at more than a day are billed half at the start and half on completion.
We cover floors, wear shoe covers and clean up before we leave. Please clear the work area and keep pets in another room while we work.
