Therapy that helps you breathe easier.
Nora Ellery, LMFT · Founder
Therapy in Denver & online across Colorado
Together we’ll set down what weighs on you, understand where it came from and find a steadier way forward. Warm, direct therapy for adults, couples and teens.
Grounded in care
Find your footing. Then find yourself.
It’s loud out there. The expectations, the noise, the old patterns that keep replaying: it can feel impossible to hear your own voice above it all. Therapy is an hour a week that belongs only to you, with someone trained to help you make sense of it.
About our practice- 12years helping Denver adults, couples and teens
- 3licensed therapists, each with their own focus
- 7 daysa week, with evening and weekend sessions
Recognizing the signs
You don’t have to carry it all.
Many of the people who find their way to us are high-functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside. You might recognize yourself here:
The quiet burnout
You keep showing up for everyone, but you can’t remember the last time you felt rested, or like yourself.
The old loop
The same argument, the same reaction, the same Sunday-night dread. You can see the pattern; you just can’t seem to step out of it.
The 3 a.m. mind
Your thoughts race the moment the house goes quiet. You replay conversations and rehearse the worst case.
The inner critic
Nothing you do feels like enough. The voice in your head is harder on you than you’d ever be on a friend.

Most people wait years before they reach out. Coming in sooner doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means you’re paying attention.

A pause, right now
Take one slow breath with us.
Breathing out slower than you breathe in tells your body it’s safe to settle. Press start and follow the circle for a minute.
Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, and out for 6. Repeat five or six times.

A note from our founder
Therapy shouldn’t feel like a transaction.
When you reach out to us, you won’t get a phone tree or a waitlist form that disappears into the void. You’ll get a real person who cares how you’re doing.
We keep our practice small on purpose, so we can know every client by name and match you with the therapist who truly fits. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll help you find someone who is.

Questions
Am I ready for this?
How do I know if I need therapy?
You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support. If something has been weighing on you, or you keep bumping into the same pattern, that’s reason enough. The free consultation is a no-pressure way to find out.
How do I choose the right therapist?
Fit matters more than anything. Tell us a little about what’s going on and we’ll suggest who we think fits you best. If it doesn’t feel right after a few sessions, just say so and we’ll help you switch.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we’re in network with several plans and can give you a superbill for out-of-network benefits. See our Fees page for the details.
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
For most concerns, research shows online therapy works just as well. It’s also easier to fit into a busy week. You can switch between the two.
What happens in the first session?
We get to know you, your history and your goals. You can share as much or as little as you like. Many people feel lighter just from being heard.
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between you and your therapist, with a few legal exceptions, such as a risk of serious harm, which we’ll explain clearly in your first session.

Take the next step
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. You only have to be willing to sit down and begin.
