Teen & family therapy
The teen years can be hard on everyone. We help young people ages 13 to 18 build confidence and cope with stress, and help families communicate with more patience and less shouting.

What to expect
Teens get a space of their own, with clear rules about privacy that we explain to everyone at the start. Parents are part of the process too: we meet with you regularly and share ways to support your teen at home.
Family sessions bring everyone into the room to work on the things that affect the whole household, like conflict, a divorce, a move or a loss.
Often helpful for
School stress and anxiety, low mood, friendships, identity, big family changes and parents who want to feel closer to their teen
Questions
Good to know
What stays private between my teen and the therapist?
Teens need to trust their therapist, so most of what they share stays private. We always tell parents if there’s a safety concern. We go over exactly how this works with everyone in the first session.
